Experiment with 4 versions of a 15cm wide circular ruffle:
- Full for lots of volume (and weight)
- Medium for a “normal” amount of volume for dancing
- Loose and Extra Loose for a slightly waivy and light weight look of your ruffles
Each version is contained in its own file and contains information about how many cm of ruffles you get from one circle (if you use a loosely woven fabric you’ll get a few more cm per circle than indicated on the pattern) and how much fabric you need. The more volume a ruffle has the more fabric you need and the more the garment you attach the ruffles to will weigh.
Use this size of ruffle if you want to place ruffles at a distance of max. 13cm (leaving 2cm overlap).
