How To Book Your Personalized Flamenco Costume Making Course

HANDS-ON INTENSIVE FLAMENCO COSTUME MAKING COURSES details what you’ll learn during your course, so if you haven’t done so it might be a good idea to check it out before continuing.

Rather than spending frustrating days and weeks shopping for ready-made costumes ..

Learn how to create your very own dream outfit during your personalized, private hands-on flamenco costume making course – the only one worldwide tailored to your needs and taught in English (or German or Spanish)

sewing studioAnd no, you don’t need to be an experienced sewer.

The personal nature of private classes allows for classes to be adapted to you – to your skill level, objective and the time available – to ensure the best possible learning experience for you.

Say good bye to ill-fitting and uncomfortable flamenco costumes and have fun in the sewing studio!

You won’t just learn to make a skirt or dress or bata de cola or whatever garment you choose. You’ll learn to make any flamenco costume you want:

  • How to work out how much and what kind of fabric to choose,
  • How to adjust a pattern so that the skirt is figure hugging and at the same time comfortable
  • How to cut the garment and maximize the use of your fabric
  • How to work with linings, depending on the fabric
  • How to sew the garment and adjust fit

And then there is the topic of ruffles:

  • The different types of ruffles and when to use which so you can design your own skirt/dress and won’t need a pattern with instructions
  • How to decide ruffle type, size and placement
  • How to calculate fabric requirements for the ruffles
  • The most efficient way to cut ruffles – to save time and to minimize fabric waste
  • How to make ruffles including the many ways to finish them
  • The best way to sew the ruffles to the skirt

The outfit you make in class is merely the practical project for you to apply straight away what you are learning. You’ll take away the knowledge you need to get creative yourself and design your own.
